Dihexa (PNB-0408)

Dihexa (PNB-0408) is an angiotensin IV-derived peptide studied in preclinical neuroscience for potentiating hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) signaling at the c-Met receptor, with published work on synaptogenesis, dendritic spine formation, and cognition in animal models. Note: Dihexa is markedly hydrophobic and will not dissolve in plain bacteriostatic water — for laboratory use it is first dissolved in a few drops of concentrated acetic acid (or DMSO) and then diluted with bacteriostatic water.
