What is the BPC-157 / TB-500 blend?

This blend pairs BPC-157 (a synthetic pentadecapeptide derived from a gastric protective protein) with TB-500 (a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4). Both are among the most frequently studied peptides in preclinical tissue-repair research.

They are supplied together because researchers commonly study them in parallel — each acts through a different, complementary mechanism.

Why the two are studied together

BPC-157 is investigated for angiogenesis and cytoprotection, while TB-500 is studied for actin binding and cell migration. Because these pathways are distinct, the combination is used in research to probe complementary aspects of tissue remodeling in the same model.

Handling, reconstitution & storage

The blend ships as a lyophilized powder, stored at -20°C sealed and protected from light. It is reconstituted with bacteriostatic or sterile water for laboratory use, then held at 4°C short-term or aliquoted at -80°C. Each lot ships with an HPLC certificate of analysis.

Frequently asked questions

  • What is in the BPC-157 / TB-500 blend?

It contains both BPC-157 and a TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4 fragment) peptide in a single lyophilized preparation.

  • Why are BPC-157 and TB-500 studied together?

They act through different mechanisms — BPC-157 in angiogenesis/cytoprotection and TB-500 in actin binding/cell migration — so researchers combine them to study complementary repair pathways.
